The incomes derived starting with January 1st, 2017, if the total of the incomes is bigger than the value of gross average salary multiplied by 5, the individual contribution for social health insurance is calculated in the limit of this ceiling.
Thus, starting with January 1st 2017, we will have:
- for salary incomes: if the total incomes obtained monthly is greater than the value of the 5 (five) times the gross average salary, the individual contribution for social health insurance will be calculated in the limit of this ceiling;
- for incomes derived from independent activities: the monthly basis for calculus can not be bigger that the value of the five times the gross average salary valid for the year the contribution is determined for.
